📖 Betting Rules
Official rules for all sports and bet types on PNCL. Last updated: June 21, 2026
1. General Rules
All bets placed on PNCL are subject to these Betting Rules and our Terms & Conditions. By placing a bet you confirm acceptance of both.
- All bets are settled according to official results published by the governing body of the relevant sport or competition. In the event of any discrepancy, the official result takes precedence.
- PNCL reserves the right to restrict betting markets, limit stakes, or decline bets at its sole discretion and without prior notice.
- Maximum payout per bet slip is subject to sport-specific limits detailed in each sport section below and displayed at the time of bet placement.
- All times displayed on the platform are Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) unless otherwise stated.
2. Bet Settlement
- Bets will be settled once the relevant event is complete and official results are confirmed.
- PNCL aims to settle bets within 60 minutes of an event concluding. Settlement may be delayed pending official confirmation.
- Winnings are credited to your account balance automatically upon settlement.
- If an event is suspended before settlement criteria are met, bets remain open and will be settled when the event resumes and concludes, or voided if the event is officially cancelled.
3. Void and Cancelled Events
- An event that is postponed and not rescheduled to take place within 24 hours of the original start time will result in all bets being voided and stakes returned.
- If a match or event is abandoned before completion, bets will be voided unless the sport-specific rules below specify otherwise or a sufficient portion of the event has been completed to permit settlement.
- In an accumulator (parlay), if one or more selections are voided, the accumulator is recalculated without the voided selection(s). The overall bet remains valid.
4. Palpable Error (Obvious Error)
PNCL reserves the right to correct or void bets placed at odds that are manifestly and materially incorrect as a result of human or technical error ("palpable error"). Examples include odds that are significantly below market rates or reflect an incorrect event. Where a palpable error is identified:
- PNCL may void the affected bet(s) and return stakes; or
- Settle the bet at the correct odds that would have been offered absent the error.
Decisions regarding palpable errors are at PNCL's sole discretion and are final.
5. Dead Heat
A dead heat occurs when two or more participants tie for a position (e.g. joint winners). In the event of a dead heat, the following rule applies:
- Winning bets are settled at a proportional share of the full odds. The proportion is calculated as: 1 / (number of participants sharing the relevant position).
- Example: if two participants tie for first place, winning bets are settled at half the stated odds.
6. Maximum Payout
Maximum payouts are applied per bet slip and per customer per event. Sport-specific maximum payout limits are displayed in the bet placement interface. PNCL reserves the right to adjust maximum payout limits at any time. Any bet placed that would exceed the applicable maximum payout will be reduced proportionally or declined.
7. Market-Specific Rules
7.1 1X2 / Moneyline (Match Result)
- Settled on the result at the end of regular time (including injury time where applicable). Extra time, overtime, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded unless the market is explicitly stated to include them.
- If the match does not produce a result at end of regular time (e.g., due to abandonment), bets are voided.
7.2 Over / Under (Totals)
- Settled on the total number of specified occurrences (goals, points, games, etc.) during the defined period.
- If the total exactly equals the line (push), stakes are returned.
- Half-point lines (e.g., Over 2.5 goals) eliminate the possibility of a push.
7.3 Handicap / Spread
- A virtual advantage or disadvantage is applied to a participant. Bets are settled on the adjusted result.
- Asian Handicap: where the adjusted result is a push, the stake is returned (or split for quarter-ball handicaps).
- European Handicap: three outcomes (win / draw / loss on adjusted result). No return on push.
8. Live (In-Play) Betting
- Live bets are accepted in real time during an ongoing event. Odds fluctuate continuously and the displayed price at the moment of confirmation is the price at which the bet is accepted.
- There may be a brief delay between bet submission and confirmation. Any change in odds during this delay will be communicated to you before the bet is confirmed.
- PNCL may suspend or limit live betting markets at any time.
- If an event is already in progress when a bet is placed on a pre-match market, PNCL reserves the right to void the bet.
- Bets placed after the outcome of the market being bet on is known (e.g., placing a goal scorer bet after a goal has been scored) will be voided.
9. Sport-Specific Rules
⚽ Football (Soccer)
- Full-time result markets include 90 minutes plus referee-added injury time.
- Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are not included unless the market specifies "including extra time" or "to qualify".
- A match must be completed within 24 hours of its original kick-off time for bets to stand. Otherwise, bets are void.
- Correct score, first goalscorer, and anytime goalscorer markets: if a player does not take part after the first minute of play, bets on that player are void.
🏀 Basketball
- Result markets include overtime unless the market is explicitly stated as "Regular Time".
- A minimum of 43 minutes of play must be completed for moneyline and spread bets to stand. Over/Under bets require the full scheduled time to be completed.
- If a game is rescheduled to a different date, bets are void unless the game takes place within 24 hours of the original tip-off time.
🎾 Tennis
- Match winner markets: if a player retires after the match has begun, the opponent is declared the winner and bets stand. If a player retires or withdraws before the match begins, all bets are void.
- Set betting: if a player retires mid-match, bets on unplayed or incomplete sets are voided. Completed set results stand.
- Live bets are voided if a player retires during play.
🏒 Ice Hockey

- Result markets are based on the score at the end of regular time (60 minutes) unless the market specifies overtime.
- Both halves must be completed for bets to stand.
